Rowville, VIC

Stud Park

Old McDonald had a farm… and if the recent output of farm themed playground equipment is anything to go by…he had multiple!

Many regional, and presently not so regional, Aussie areas have taken to their playspaces to express pride in their postcode’s rich farming history. We’ve seen it a fair bit in NSW; Lochinvar’s Hereford Hill and Denman Memorial Park, but a shiny new space in Knox Council, VIC has heads turning!

It is clear this community-approved, all-abilities playspace at Stud Park is paying homage to its agricultural history. While in the 21st Century the space lies only a short drive from Melbourne’s CBD, the area itself holds a great, deep farming history, one which the people of the area simply could not ignore.

Containing enormous play value, the Rowville site is complete with a Mammoth Swing, Double Bay Swing and 2.3m Carousel – not to mention a peppering of farm animal rockers and a statement custom Silo Tower, draped in classic Moduplay activities. Working closely with Knox Council & Yellowstone Landscapes, Moduplay has played its part in designing and constructing a space that meets that is ‘Invisi-Clusive‘, with thoughtful considerations to ensure that the playground activities, and space itself is accessible to every visitor, regardless of age or ability.

It’s exciting to be able to see these works come to fruition, starting right here in Unanderra. The intricate design phase, meticulous engineering, the craftmanship of manufacturing and assembly, a great big truck exiting the driveway and the construction and opening of an equal access space, which has thrilled a community in Victoria.

If there’s something Moduplay can guarantee in all this, it’s quality workmanship thanks to our hard working team, and sturdy playground equipment that stands the test of time, much like the nursery rhymes!
