Moduplay recently completed the design and construction of a nature-themed playground at Protea Reserve in Crafers, South Australia. Opened in 2024, this project exemplifies Moduplay’s commitment to creating engaging, inclusive Australian-made play spaces that foster children’s development and enhance community well-being.

Protea Reserve is characterised by its lush canopy of trees, abundant wildlife, and serene natural beauty. Moduplay’s design team drew inspiration from these elements to create a playground that seamlessly integrates with its surroundings. The playground reflects the unique characteristics of the area, promoting a sense of wonder and encouraging children to connect with nature.

- Nature-themed Multiplay Unit: A centerpiece of the playground is the custom-designed Naples multiplay unit. This unit features a custom perspex panel adorned with artwork of native wildlife and protea flowers, the namesake of the park.
- Inclusive Design: Accessibility was a key priority throughout the design process. The playground incorporates an accessible spinner and rubber pads connecting play areas to pathways, ensuring that children of all abilities can enjoy the space. This inclusive design fosters a sense of belonging and encourages social interaction among all children.
