Commissioned by Narrandera Shire Council, the design and delivery of this project was entrusted to Moduplay — with a brief to completely renew the infants’ playground and provide something truly special for the local community.
At the heart of the upgrade is a completely custom Moduplay play unit, tailored specifically to the site and its users. Featuring unique theming, whimsical rooflines, playful colours and accessible features, this centrepiece brings inclusive, intergenerational fun to one of Narrandera’s most iconic green spaces. Carefully engineered and constructed by our in-house team, it’s a one-of-a-kind play structure that stands proud as a new local landmark.
The surrounding playspace has been rounded out with a curated selection of Moduplay favourites, adding variety and movement play to the mix:
- Custom Multi-Play Unit – Inspired by a famous Australian K9 family
- Zbolt Trampoline – for energetic bouncing and balance development
- Compact Double Bay Swing with Hammock Seat – a relaxing and social swing option
- Safari Rocker – promoting cooperative play and imagination
- Ice Cream Truck – a charming pretend play piece loved by younger children
- 25m Double SkyRider (No Platforms) – a high-thrill flying fox experience that’s always a crowd favourite
This upgrade not only enhances liveability and enjoyment for families in the Narrandera region but also highlights the value of quality, Australian-made play equipment designed with care.
Marie Bashir Park is now a benchmark in regional playspace renewal — where creativity, safety and local character all come together.
