At the heart of Anna Maria King Park’s revitalised playground stands the Lacewing G-1304 structure, with its artful curves and balanced shape, invites children to climb, slide, and navigate its 360 Maze Panel and Conveyor Climber. The Geo2 Ginini Y-9202 expands this play space, offering a platform-less climbing challenge that tests agility and determination as children navigate over, under, and through its unique configuration.
Adding a touch of classic fun, the Capital Double Bay Swing Set with its sturdy A-frame design and comfortable nest seats, ensures that the timeless joy of swinging remains accessible to all. Meanwhile, the Step Pod Trail offers a dynamic fitness challenge, promoting balance and coordination while encouraging healthy activity. These diverse play elements, thoughtfully selected and combined, create a timeless multi-generational play space that’s both fenced and well landscaped.
But this playground is more than just its equipment; it’s a testament to the power of collaboration between the City of Parramatta and Moduplay. The incorporation of 100% recycled HDPE sheet panels into the design reflects a shared commitment to sustainability and environmental responsibility. This innovative approach not only reduces waste but also creates a visually appealing and durable play area that will be enjoyed for years to come.
The Anna Maria King Park playground stands as a symbol of community spirit, innovation, and a dedication to creating spaces that enrich the lives of children and families. Playgrounds are a place where memories are made, laughter is shared, and a love for play is nurtured. This project exemplifies what can be achieved when local government and passionate play equipment manufacturers join forces to create a brighter future for our communities.
