This is where the unique manufacturing capabilities of “Australia’s own” export quality playground equipment manufacturer come into play… no pun intended. And combined with Moduplay’s own Construction Team for a full Design & Construct project we’ve delivered this great playground for Parramatta City Council at Acacia Park, Telopea.
The Playground: Inspired by ‘The City’
The theme for this new playground was “The City” and in the background you can see the skyline of Parramatta City quite clearly. Zero back into the playground and there are several focus points that bring it to life:
- The new Moduplay Sydney ‘Arbor Tunnel (pun intended and a great product too) welcomes kids to the playground. The plant friendly/kid friendly design means the vine climbers are thriving as they make their way to the top for a fully shaded tunnel
- The main custom built play structure references an original homestead built on the location in 1836 with custom printed signage
- The small, again custom, cottage profiles give a cosy feel to the play area where children naturally use them to interact with each other and anybody that will take notice
- The brick edge raised garden beds by our construction crews give orientation and character to the many interesting play areas
- The Inclusive Luna Carousel and Bushwood Balance Trail add to a complete play workout for all ages
- Sound and sensory Drum and Garden Chimes on the perimeter where children can engage with music and beats
