26 ICONIC CENTREPIECE PLAY Soaring above the revitalised Wagga Beach, the iconic Wagga Water Wizz Towers stand as a testament to both the region’s rich history and Moduplay’s commitment to innovative play. Inspired by the beloved original waterslide, which captivated locals in the 1980s and early 1990s, these towering structures offer a contemporary twist on a cherished memory. Reviving the spirit of the original Wagga Water Wizz, these iconic towers stand as a testament to the region’s history. The Moduplay Team worked closely with Wagga Wagga City Council and Huon contractors to bring the towers to life, right from the design, through to manufacture and installation. Soaring from 7.0m up to a full 10.4m above the ground, these bespoke towers dance their way along the shoreline of Wagga beach, providing additional peaks to conquer, and cast an eye across the incredible Murrumbidgee River and vast horizon below and beyond! Moduplay is proud to have played a pivotal role in bringing this beloved landmark back to life, from original design concept right through to the manufacture and installation of the towers. Inspired by an old beloved local landmark, the new towers capture the essence of the past while embracing the future. The Wagga Water Wizz Towers stand as a symbol of the community’s spirit and resilience, outlining the importance of centrepiece play in our community spaces.
